GW Engineering is excited to introduce Ryan Salandy as the new Web Lead dedicated to our school! He is a collaborative and strategic web professional boasting over a decade of experience in the realm of web development.
“I was drawn to web development because I like creating simple things people enjoy using. I stayed in the field because I have a passion for interaction and user design,” Salandy stated.
By using that passion and his natural knack for problem-solving, Salandy has cultivated a robust skill set in enhancing user experiences (UX) and streamlining the development process. By harnessing the power of lean UX and agile methodologies, he excels at eliminating inefficiencies in the application design and production process. Notably, his approach to transforming ideas into actionable plans sets him apart and underscores his contributions to the industry.
Salandy came to GW Engineering from GW’s Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIE), where he was given an opportunity to serve in a temporary position. At the time, he was looking to get into higher education at a school with a significant impact on the next generation. In that year with OIE, Salandy says he fell in love with GW and decided he wanted to stay permanently. Welcome Ryan!
