Trusting AI: Navigating Ethics, Impact and Innovation in Real-World Deployments
CVP partnered with The George Washington University (GW) to create an ongoing speaker series focused on change, innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. This year's speaker series spotlights a GW Engineering initiative, the Co-Design of Trustworthy AI Systems (DTAIS).
As AI is increasingly deployed in real-world settings with impacts on people's lives, it is essential to understand how we can trust AI systems as individuals, organizations, and societies. This panel brings together AI leaders from academia, industry, and government to share perspectives and case studies on the potential and challenges of real-world AI deployments. A moderated discussion will dive into the ethical frameworks that drive the development of their projects, ideas, and priorities for the future of AI, as well as considerations for training the next generation of AI researchers and users.
