Inclusive Spaces
Inclusive spaces are dedicated areas designed to meet the diverse personal, physical, and spiritual needs of our community. As a result, these facilities are here to provide privacy, dignity, and a sense of belonging.
Inclusive Spaces in SEH
All Use Restrooms: An All Use Restroom, sometimes referred to as gender neutral or all gender, is a restroom that anyone of any gender identity or expression is invited to use. All Use Restrooms benefit many different people, including people with children, people with caregivers, transgender, and gender diverse people, and anyone needing to use the restroom for example. Everyone should be able to use restrooms that are safe and accessible.
All Use Restrooms can be single occupant or multi-stall. In SEH, we have two All Use Restrooms located on the B1 level and two All Use Rest Rooms Located on the 5th floor each with multi-stalls and communal sinks. To allow for the most privacy and appropriate space, every other stall has been closed. Please lock the stall door when using an individual stall. If you prefer to use gender-specific restrooms, both women’s and men’s restrooms in SEH are located on B2, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th floors. Additional information on all use restrooms across campus can be found on the Multicultural Student Services Center’s website.
Thank you for your commitment to making SEH and GW a more inclusive community. If you have questions or need additional information about restrooms, please contact Facilities, Planning, Construction and Management at workcrtl
