Isabella Gransbury White is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Computer Science at The George Washington University. She earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science, as well as a Minor in Engineering Education, from North Carolina State University. Prior to joining GW, she served as an Assistant Teaching Professor and the Director of Cybersecurity Education at NC State, where she developed and led engaging computing and cybersecurity curricula for secondary school students.

Her research focuses on equitable grading practices in computing education, active learning pedagogy in post-secondary computer science education, and student attitudes and persistence beyond introductory coursework.
