Professor Tian Lan Named Technical Program Co-Chair for International Conference

Researchers gathered in GW's Science & Engineering Hall for a Technical Program Committee meeting ahead of INFOCOM 2025, hosted by Lan.

In the article “NMSU associate dean named technical program co-chair for international conference,” New Mexico State University (NMSU) announced that NMSU associate dean of research, Satyajayant “Jay” Misra, and Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at GW Engineering, Tian Lan, have been appointed Technical Program Committee (TPC) co-chairs for IEEE’s International Conference on Computer Communications 2026 (INFOCOM). 

The pair will be responsible for overseeing the peer review process and developing the technical program for INFOCOM, one of the world’s most prestigious conferences in computer networking and communications. This marks the second year that Lan has played a key role in this international conference, as he served as an area chair for INFOCOM 2025.
