Bella Kumar

Bella Kumar is an interdisciplinary maker and the inaugural GW Innovation Center Coordinator. She graduated from GWU with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Political Communication in 2024. Prior to her role as the Coordinator, she worked at the GWIC as a student employee for three years, developing its volunteer program and conversion to zero waste. They are passionate about art-based pedagogy and making as a form of mutual aid and self determination. Her responsibilities include managing the Innovation Center’s physical space, M06, its resources, training and learning programs, student staff and volunteers, as well as guiding its pedagogical framework.
