GW Innovation Center x Kennedy Center Project Work Day

Fri, 2 February, 2024 2:00pm - 5:00pm

The GW Innovation Center is partnering with The Kennedy Center and GW's Sustainability Program for a second time to fabricate a special art installation out of cardboard, THE-FORESTATION, for this year's international festival dedicated to forests, REACH to Forest!  The REACH to Forest Festival is a two-week exploration of art, science, and nature where humans and forest converge. The designer Celia Ledón will return to GW to work on the project in January and February for the installation.

Join them in making materials for the installation on a special workday! This is a volunteer/community service opportunity for GW Engineering students of all majors and levels. If you can't make it on February 2nd, check out their Volunteer Sign-Up form for more volunteer opportunities starting January 22nd through February 14th!
