At Harding University, this shift includes launching a new Bachelor of Science in AI this fall. Joe Faith, an assistant professor at Harding and current doctoral student at GW Engineering Online, was among those who helped develop the program and shared insights on its goals.
Here is an excerpt from the article: “My goal is I don’t want to give somebody a degree where they have to go on to get more education when they leave,” Faith said. “School is expensive enough. And so really the goal is you could go and you could work at a company like OpenAI or Meta, or anything like that, but also even local companies that are wanting to implement AI.”
