Prof. Tarek El-Ghazawi (ECE) was quoted in the February 15 news article, Computer Takes On Quiz Show Championson SKY.com.

Other:

On February 11, Prof. Baoxia Mi (CEE) was invited to visit the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to talk with project leaders and research scientists in the Polymer Division of the NIST Material and Measurement Laboratory. She also gave a seminar entitled "Advancing Membrane Technology for Water Sustainability." NIST is launching a new project on water filtration membranes and has expressed an interest in future research collaboration with Prof. Mi on various membrane topics.
