"Recognizing Excellence in Bioengineering Academic Research"

The University of Maryland's Fischell Department of Bioengineering will be hosting this graduate student research workshop in early January! The purpose of the workshop is to provide guidance to graduate students interested in biomedical as they prepare to transition into post-doctoral positions and eventually into academia. It will feature faculty career path talks; how-to workshops on finding, interviewing for, and getting funding for a post-doc; and individual mentoring sessions with UMD faculty.

Those interested in applying to present their research should have completed 3+ years of doctoral training in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, or a closely related field. Applications are due on Wednesday, November 15th!
