Dr. Cho's research focuses on developing novel magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques for quantifying clinically relevant tissue properties, including cerebral oxygenation, and applying these methods to advance the understanding and treatment of neurological disorders such as dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, cerebral small vessel disease, and brain cancer. His work spans biophysics modeling, advanced image reconstruction, quantitative data analysis, validation, and translational studies that bridge engineering innovation with clinical applications.
