Rather, the organization draws on the results from more than 60 professionals at various stages of their careers to establish a baseline for what a systems engineer should know after completing a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of industry experience.
Once a professional submits their application and fee, they have one year to fulfill all requirements, including passing the exam. They are allowed to retake the test during this period, but after a year they must start the whole process over again.
